Once again into the breach we slip…
A light at the end of the tunnel, hardly. There is no light. The light is a conjured vision created by the millions who came before us in hope that there really was relief. No, my friends, the proverbial light at the end of the tunnel is death. The tunnel itself, well that is just a fancy euphemism for life. I have been thinking an awful lot about that tunnel as of late. This roller coaster has been running at full speed for a while and I could really use a smooth section for a bit, but still none in sight.
So the newest struggle seems that I am to experience to become gainfully employed doing what I have done in the past and would be happy to do again. To add insult to injury, on top of being over qualified to work in the industry I have worked for over 10 years, I am also under qualified to even be given a chance doing something I am not experienced in. One step worse is now that I have had to drop my pride and move back to Texas, I have received offers from New Orleans businesses. Not one offer, but four separate offers… Two words, "Fuck Murphy!!" who ever this Murphy is anyway.
I have spewed forth yet more of my thoughts, and feel marginally better after that rant. I shall return to real life once more, until next time...
